Home Remedies for Razor Burn
Have you ever felt burning sensation or seen red rash on your skin after you shaved? That, my friend, is razor burn. Dull blade and shaving dry are the examples of what causing razor burn. You can sooth the burning sensation on your leg and armpit and reduce the redness by using these home remedies for razor burn. Let’s take a look.

Cold compress
Put soaked cloth or ice cubes wrapped towels onto the razor burn area. Cold sensation from the cloth will relieve the burning sensation on the leg and prevent the inflammation.

Apple cider vinegar
Use apple cider vinegar to relieve the itching sensation on the shaved area. Apple cider vinegar also contains anti-inflammatory and anti-infection compounds that prevent swelling, redness and tenderness on your leg or armpit area. Soak the cotton ball with apple cider vinegar then dab it on the affected area. Leave the vinegar to dry and rinse it off. Repeat for two-times a day to relieve the razor burn pain faster. For individual with sensitive area, dilute apple cider vinegar with water prior you use it.

Aloe vera
Aloe vera has cooling nature and natural moisturizer that of course, will sooth the razor burn sensation and reduce the risk of inflammation. Apply aloe vera gels onto the affected area. You will get cold sensation from the gel, leave the gel to dry on its own. Wash it off. Repeat the process two to three times a day for few days.

Aspirin is famous as the medicine to relieve the pain and reduce the inflammation. That is why aspirin is a good choice to cure razor burn.
· Prepare one teaspoon of warm water and add to it two aspirins.
· Leave it for some time to allow aspirins soaked and melted in the water, and you have the aspirin paste.
· Apply the paste on the razor burn area and leave it for 10 minute. Rinse it off.
· Repeat the treatment twice a day for better results.
Don’t use this aspirin paste if you have sensitive skin.

Honey is full with benefits for many diseases and conditions, just like the razor burn. The antibacterial compounds will prevent the affected area from swelling and inflammation. Honey is also the natural moisturizer that would keep your skin smooth and soft. It is recommended to use raw honey since it still has royal jelly and propolis that are very good to body’s health.
· Just apply honey onto the affected area and leave it to dry on its own. Use cold water to wash it off.
· Mix 1½ teaspoon of honey with 1 tablespoon of plain yoghurt. Rub the mixture onto the irritated skins and leave it for 15 minutes. Use lukewarm water to rinse the mixture off.
· Repeat the process 3-4 times a day as needed.

Cucumber contains so many properties to relieve you from razor burn, for instance, anti-inflammatory, vitamin C, and K.
· Cut cucumber into slices and save them in the refrigerator for half an hour. Dab the slices onto the irritated skin for about 10 minutes. Repeat the process few times till your razor burn heals.

There are still many recipes of home remedies for razor burn out there, but these recipes are enough to relieve you from razor burn pain and red skins.
